Q: Are you selling residential
condominiums?
A: No. We are selling Private Transferable Right-to-Use Memberships.
Each membership unit comes with one dry storage area and unlimited in and out
service for one boat. Your Membership may be sold or kept in
your family for generations.
Q:
I own a boat with a partner. Does that require two
memberships?
A: No, just one. Members may designate other registered users.
Members and registered users may have as many guests as their boat will safely
accommodate.
Q: May I rent out my boat
slip.
A: Yes. However, you will be temporarily transfering
all of your membership rights to the Tenant except for the right to sell your
membership (Subject to the Rental Agreement with the Tenant). You will also
retain your membership discounts at the store and restaurant.
Q:
Will there be any boat slips for rent.
A: There
will be very few boat slips available for rent as most of our members will be
using their slip for their own boat. The club will however maintain a waiting
list for those boaters wishing to rent a slip.
Q: Who is the Developer?
A:
The principle developer, Randy McNeal, is a long-time Ponte
Vedra/Palm Valley resident and has more than 25 years' experience in commercial
real estate. Mr. McNeal has selected Jim Hohnstein to bring industry specific
experience to the development team. Mr. Hohnstein has spent the last 15 years in
the hands-on management and development of several marinas in south Florida, including: Owl Creek Boat Works, Marina 31, BB Marina Club, and Marina Club Bonita
Springs. In addition, Mr.
McNeal and Mr. Hohnstein have teamed up with Roof N Rack, the Boca Raton-based world
leader and authority in Dry Storage Marina construction and development. This
team is poised to make Marina Club PV a facility that its members and the
community will be proud of.
